Overall Job Objective:
Provide support in the preparation and implementation of the department’s programs and projects related to orbital and space trajectory analysis, in addition to participating in research related to space exploration, to enhance the success of the Agency’s space missions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use scientific, engineering, and physical principles, along with algorithmic principles, to assist in designing, repairing, and improving spacecraft components, facilities, and materials.
- Prepare research and data analysis collected from space missions or satellite observations to extract valuable insights and information.
- Assist in the integration of instruments and scientific payloads onto satellites or spacecraft and ensure they meet mission requirements.
- Participate in conducting scientific research for space exploration and perform necessary studies to analyze research outcomes.
- Participate in the implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of quality assurance programs during all phases of space and aerospace systems, vehicle launches, and related ground support equipment.
- Provide support for ongoing space missions by monitoring spacecraft health, troubleshooting, and reporting issues to ensure mission success.
- Support the process of specifying requirements for interrelated vehicle systems in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – 0 years of experience required.
