Overall Job Objective:

To provide support in managing program-related agreements, compliance tasks, and partnership coordination under the supervision of the Mission Director. The role involves assisting in legal and regulatory processes, tracking business opportunities, and supporting collaborations with national and international space sector entities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of contracts, MOUs, and partnership agreements.
  • Support documentation and follow-up related to intellectual property and licensing matters.
  • Help monitor compliance with export control regulations, such as ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations), under guidance.
  • Assist in liaising with regulatory authorities to facilitate the transfer of goods, technology, and information.
  • Support research and identification of potential partnerships with space agencies, research institutions, and industry stakeholders.
  • Help gather data and prepare risk assessments related to compliance, legal, and financial aspects of business development activities.
  • Maintain records of agreements, approvals, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate internal communications to align business development tasks with mission objectives.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Space Law, or a related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in legal, regulatory, or business development roles, preferably within the aerospace, space, or defense sector.

 

Skills:

  • Basic understanding of export control frameworks (e.g., ITAR, EAR).
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Interest in international collaboration and the space industry.
  • Good communication skills and ability to support negotiations and coordination.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (including Visio)
