Overall Job Objective:
The PMO is responsible and reports to the Mission Director for managing the cost and schedule execution associated with the development, launch, cruise, and different phases of the mission. The PMO manages project risks, assures independent review of EMA elements, monitors the progress of each element, reports status to mission director, and recommends necessary corrective and preventative actions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage EMA’s budget, risks and overall mission performance.
- Develop and Manage ECD initiatives
- Improve program management strategies for EMA mission.
- Extract valuable insights from mission data to improve decision-making.
- Enhance decision-making abilities by implementing a structured decision-making process.
- Establish partnerships with at least two new entities (national or international) for EMA.
- Enhance program planning processes for efficiency.
Skills:
- Microsoft Project or another scheduling tool
- Microsoft Office, including Visio
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor in Industrial Engineering & Engineering Management or Business Management
- +4 years in space project management, quality assurance, engineering management and risks management.
- Experience in anomaly management, critical thinking and problem solving of space missions.
